On a typical 100 day world cruise you can expect to travel over 30,000 nautical miles and visit up to 40 different ports. They often cross the equator more than once and tend not to repeat the same itinerary on future world cruises. Most will allow passengers to opt for sections of the cruise rather than the full 2 or 3 months. These sections usually consist of 20-25 night segments and can be combined thereby creating a tailored cruise without embarking on a full around the world cruise.
